M3 SYSTEM EVOLUTION TECHNICAL DATA

M3 System EVOLUTION demountable partition is a non load bearing internal wall, designed to divide adjacent spaces. It is made up of interchangeable modular elements with no wastage . The facing panels can be a combination of solid (metal, melamine, wood) and glazed (bonded or framed glass).

• Load-bearing structure:
- 72 x 42 mm galvanised rolled steel U guides, 0.8 mm thickness, placed on the floor and ceiling with doubled sided sealing made of expanded grid polyethylene, for improved soundproofing.
The upper guides are silver prepainted and the lower are finished with a PVC click-in profile.
- 72 x 36 mm galvanised rolled steel shaped uprights, 1.2 mm thickness, placed vertically between the upper and lower guides with holes designed to allow tubes for cables to pass through.
Upright have slots spaced 32 mm apart for attachment of panel anchors and insertion of crossbars. Additional slots spaced 32 mm apart on the front enable equipment, worktops or storage units to be attached.
The upright has a bottom self-levelling foot and with an extension of ±15 mm in order to compensate the difference in height.
- 1.2 mm thickness galvanised rolled steel crossbars with holes designed to allow tubes for cables to pass through and fixed to the load bearing structure, for each module (blind, glazed and door).
Rigid/soft coextruded self-extinguishing PVC gaskets are fitted to both uprights and crossbars for a perfect seal and for soundproofing.

• External panelling: - 18 mm chipboard panel faced on both sides with melamine paper with a weight of 120g/sq m. and a density 690 kg/mc, with 2.5 mm anti reflection and anti scratch melamine covering.
The panel is finished on all four sides with a 1.5 mm thick ABS edging with rounded edges.
Colours available grey/ivory/maple/beech/cherry/silver/white (other on demand), fire reaction class D-s2, d0 (B-s2, d0 on demand), class E1 low level of formaldehyde.
The panelling is fixed to the uprights by means of a special hock made from galvanised profiled steel inserted into its vertical sides which are appropriately milled.
The slot between each two adjacent panel is 6 mm.
Where necessary it is possible to make holes in the panelling for electrical sockets.

• Soundproofing (on demand):
- a insulation panel could be inserted between the solid panels to enhance acoustic performance.

• Side finishings:
- Telescopic wall abutment using a aluminium extruded element paired with a press-folded steel element.
To improve acoustic performance there is a expanded grid polyethylene adhesive sealing between the aluminium profiles and the wall or demountable partition.

• Upper finishing:
- 25 mm upper prepainted silver finishing visible U guide.

• Lower finishing:
- PVC silver finishing clicked on both side of the lower U guide.

• Windows:
- glass fixed to natural silver anodised extruded aluminium profile to contain two glass sheets, one on each side, placed externally in line with the partition, and fixed to the uprights by means of a special hock.
The glass will be 6/7 mm thickness and is of VISARM type security.
It is possible to place 25 mm moveable venetian blinds inside the two sheets of glass.

• Depth, pitch and height of the demountable partition:
- the demountable partition has a total width of 114 mm, the distance between the uprights is equal to 1200 mm, for standard modules and two leaf doors, and 1000 mm for single leaf doors.
